Schools,Colleges and other Educational Institutes will reopen from August 15: HRD Minister Pokhriyal


Schools, Colleges, and Other Educational Institutions will reopen from August 15, said by the Human Resources and Development Minister Ramesh Nishank Pokhriyal in an Interview with BBC. He added that they are planning to declare the Results of the Examinations this session by August 15 which already have completed before the Lockdown.

Due to the COVID-19, the Educational Institutions have remained from mid of Month March 2020. Around 33 crore students have been waiting for the updates on the reopening of Educational Institutions for clearing their Examinations.

CBSE Board is planning to conduct pending Examination from July 1 to July 15,  While ICSE/ISC exams will begin from July 1 till July12. NEET is scheduled to conduct on July 26 and JEE is scheduled to conduct on July 18 to July 23.

As per earlier reports in May, Schools and Colleges would reopen with 30% attendance and with younger students till class 8 remaining at home.

Guidelines After Reopening of Educational Institutions :

  •  As per Reports, Teachers would need to wear masks.
  • Arrange the CCTVs to observe the social distancing is being followed.
  • Two students should be seated in a Three seated desk.
  • Thermal Scanners would be installed in Institutions.
  • Educate the Students by printing the guidelines regarding COVID-19 in several Locations in Institutions.
The Above Guidelines should follow the time of the reopening of Institutions.
